This item just arrived yesterday.I got it to replace my plastic french press mug because I was sick of drinking coffee that tasted like plastic.So far, this is doing a wonderful job. A couple notes:The picture on here doesn't do this justice.It's beautifully designed.The only downsides:It's smaller than the mug it's replacing -- I'd guess you get about 8 oz of brewed coffee out of every press.The glass isn't quite insulated well enough, so it's a little hot to hold when it's first brewed.Thicker glass or a handle would be a definite plus.
