I got a sample of this product in my new Hamilton Beach Brew Station. The first time I used it, I could not believe how great it is.
Things I like:
Dissolve in 4 cups of water, pour in coffeemaker. Dissolves easily.
Run through the coffeemaker, then wipe and rinse parts. I said "wipe", not "scrub"! First one I ever used that I could do that. I was very impressed.
Two subsequent run throughs with clear water. The cleaner is tinted with a blue color, so that you can see if you have got it all rinsed out.
Then you are done. That's it. No more muss, fuss, or mess.
It does say to use it once a week. I find once a month is plenty for us, but that would depend on coffeemaker usage. Fabulous product.

If you are willing to spend up to $1000 for a coffee maker the low cost of this filter is well worth it.It maked the coffee taste better while protecting your machine.
needed (basically just) descaler but this kit came up as recommended on Amazon for our Saeco Odea Giro unit. the kit also includes the lubricant, a "paintbrush" to apply it to the brew group's hard-to-reach places, and a water filter (which we don't bother with; our drinking water is triple-filtered as it is). there's also a package of cleaning tabs which can't be used with the Odea Giro, unfortunately (as it doesn't have an automatic cleaning cycle).
Using this product was simple in my Magnifica machine.Process took about 40 minutes, you can see the results of the process floating in your dish.Espresso tastes much better after running the descaling process.Bottle is good for two cleanings.
There's not much to say - if you own an espresso machine, you need this.Every time the machine boils water, any minerals fall out of solution - the harder your water the more minerals - resulting in sluggish performance as the heating element now has to heat through "stone".Used regularly, your machine will run as good as new, without the horrible smell and aftertastes of other decalcifiers, such as vinegar.
The product is amazing.It thoroughly cleans your machine with minimal effort on your part (just running the solution through your machine to clean it and then a few clean water flushes and you're done).But don't buy from these guys, the shipping is a total rip-off (you pay over half of he item's price again in shipping).Buy Cleancaf, but just do it from someone, or somewhere else (there are lots of other resources online that sell it with REASONABLE shipping rates).
I used this product as directed and found that it was a waste of money. It didn't clean the pot or internal parts of the coffee maker that I wanted to clean.
Amazing how my coffee maker sparkles like new.I was suprised at how much better this worked than using the vinegar cleaning method.I now use this product monthly and waved the vinegar method goodbye.
