Bodum 8-Cup Glass Beaker for Presses Review

It is impossible to know whether these glass carafes are the correct size for replacements without knowing the number of ounces they hold.The cups are an arbitrary volume that is specific to some standard that I am not familiar with, and therefore I had to guess at which "cup" size would be the same as my known 20 oz. press pot.8 cups as it turns out is a 32 oz size, but I never see "6-cup" pots advertised so I had to return these.Making a random guess on-line sucks, has taken more time and cost me money and I still do not have what I needed.But it is really tough to find 20 oz carafes so I took my chance...oh well.
