I wanted the taste of brewed coffee and not instant but I only drink 1/2-1 cup a day so this is perfect. (That is really all this product holds anyway) The 5 minute wait once you add the coffee doesn't seem that long to get the taste of brewed. The only thing I would suggest is not to pour out the coffee and then tip it back and pour out the rest of the coffee you will find there because this delivers a few pieces of smaller grounds into your cup. Which you may get in a very small amount anyway...but mostly I don't get anything if I don't double pour. Not really enough to bother me even if it does.
