It's lovely to look at but extremely difficult to clean!The little knob on top twists off easily, too easily but you have to twist and turn and twist some more to take off the bottom half to clean off the coffee grinds.I gave up and now it's back in the box and I'm using the Bodum one which is less attractive but so much easier to take care of.So please, save yourself the pain in the fingers and do not purchase this product.La Cafeteire 8-Cup Medina French Press
